The Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is a non-surgical, natural contouring method in which a person's own body fat is used to add volume, projection, and shape to the buttock area. This procedure rebalances the body's contours to achieve a more proportionate, aesthetic, and feminine appearance.
In a BBL procedure, fat is typically harvested from the waist, back, abdomen, or thighs using Vaser liposuction. After the harvested fat is purified through special processing, it is carefully injected into targeted areas of the buttocks. As a result, the waist and surrounding area become slimmer while the buttocks gain a fuller, more lifted, and aesthetic shape.
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and takes an average of 2–3 hours. Since it is performed entirely with the patient's own tissue and leaves no incision or scarring, recovery is quick and comfortable. Patients can usually return to daily activities within a few days.
The results are both natural and permanent. After BBL, body proportions become more balanced; the waist appears slimmer and the buttocks appear higher and fuller. Since no implants are used in buttock shaping, the results blend naturally with the body's own tissue. Most of the fat cells are permanently retained by the body, and the shape is maintained for many years.

Who is BBL suitable for?
It is suitable for individuals who have sufficient fat tissue and wish to increase buttock volume through natural means.
Where is the fat injected in a BBL?
Fat is harvested from areas such as the waist, back, or thighs; after purification, it is injected into the upper and middle portions of the buttocks to create a lifted, full shape.
What is the recovery process like after BBL?
Swelling and tightness may be felt during the first few days. With the use of a special cushion and compression garment, patients return to normal activities within 7–10 days.
How permanent are the results?
Most of the transferred fat becomes permanent. The permanence rate depends on lifestyle, metabolism, and surgical technique; on average, about 70% of the result is permanent.
When can exercise be resumed after BBL?
Intense exercise is not recommended for the first 4 weeks. Starting from the 6th week, light-paced activities that do not put pressure on the buttocks can be resumed.
